COVID-19 Update: December 1, 2021
Please help us do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID. Please follow the policies and procedures we have in place. They are based on guidelines from the Vermont Health Department and the CDC.
Personal Protection
First and foremost, we ask that if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of any sort of illness, please stay at home. We are asking that everyone entering the store wear a mask that covers both your mouth as well as your nose. Upon entry, hand sanitizer will be provided and we ask that you take a second and sanitize your hands. Plexiglass barriers will be in place to keep a safe barrier between staff and customers in areas of high face-to-face contact, but we ask you keep your mask on at all times in the store.
Social Distancing
To help with social distancing, we are limiting the number of people that can be in the stores at any given time, staff will be monitoring.
We are following the State of Vermont COVID recovery guidelines including travel and quarantine information for out-of-state visitors. If you have been out of Vermont, especially if the county that you have traveled from is a designated red or yellow zone county, a 14-day in state self-quarantine period is required. More details including a list of green, yellow, and red counties can be found at https://accd.vermont.gov/covid-19/restart/cross-state-travel. The Vermont cross state travel map is updated every Tuesday.
Rentals, Demos and Junior Lease Packages
We will be offering daily rentals and demos as well as Season Lease Packages. Please call ahead to reserve specific demos. All equipment will be completely sanitized each time it is returned.
Ski Tuning
Ski tuning will be available. You must drop the skis off and pick them up later. No waiting in the store. All skis will be sanitized when they are received. You should sanitize them after pick up, if you so choose. Please wear a mask during delivery and pick up. For easy, contactless ski tuning related transactions we recommend you purchase a season tune. No waiting in line or face to face contact at the cash register to pay. Just drop yours skis off in the designated rack and pick them up the next day (or whatever day pick up is specified for).
Try-Ons other than boots
At this time we will not have fitting rooms available to try on clothing. Helmets and goggles will be available for trying on – they will be sanitized each time. Also, we will not accept any returns on softgoods (clothing, hats, goggles, gloves and mittens, etc.) that cannot easily be sanitized after return. This will hopefully change as the season progresses. Stay tuned.
Sanitization
All workstations, cash register areas, credit card machines, and pens used for customer transactions will be sanitized between each transaction. Our credit card machines accept Apple Pay and other touchless transaction methods. Please utilize these whenever possible. Credit card transactions under $25 will not require a signature.
Curbside Pick-up and Drop-off
For those that aren’t ready to integrate into the world, we are also still happy to handle curb-side pickups and drop-offs. Give us a ring during business hours and we’ll come out and meet you at your vehicle.
Business Hours
Normal business hours are likely to vary slightly from our typical winter hours, so please check our website and/or Google before coming out – and of course if all else fails – call to confirm before you make the drive.
Thanks for understanding and cooperating. The health and safety of our staff and our customers is our number one priority. Looking forward to a healthy and safe winter season!
